While I originally trained as a barrister, I have worked at Lester Morrill since 2006, where I qualified as a solicitor.
After being trained and mentored by Elizabeth Bowskill, the former Head of the Matrimonial Department, who has nearly 30 years’ experience in family law, I took over this position in 2012, then became a Partner in 2013.
My practice covers all aspects of family law, but I specialise in divorce/dissolution cases and those involving children, as well as financial, property and cohabitation matters.
I handle both publically and privately-funded cases and am committed to making legal advice available to everyone involved in family law disputes, regardless of their financial means.
I became an accredited Law Society Family Law Panel member in December 2011 and an accredited Law Society Children Panel member just over a year later. As a member of the Children Panel, I am allowed to represent children when they are a party to court proceedings.
To be accepted as a panel member for each of these specialisms, I had to earn special recognition for my experience and expertise in family and children law.
As a practicing member of Resolution, I take a constructive and non-confrontational approach to all family matters. Therefore, I have an empathic approach to clients and their problems, aiming to handle cases discretely and professionally to achieve the best possible solution.
To discuss your individual circumstances in complete confidence, please make an appointment for an initial complimentary meeting with me. During this meeting, I can outline the options available to you and assess your eligibility for legal aid.
“I really was in a crisis situation when I came to see you. You were very kind, amicable and the way you dealt with the situation was exemplary.”
